"Red House" comes from Jimi Hendrix's first album "Are You Experienced"
I can still remember where and when I first heard the record.
Friend Andre had bought it. His father had a beautiful pick-up, and we were happy with it for days. It must have been 1967.
Red House was one of my favorite songs, not just mine, it would be covered many times over by thousands of bands.
Strangely enough, the song was not on the US pressing of the LP.
The record executives' argument was "America does not like blues"
