                                                               //////////////////////////////////
Band Of Gypsys are Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox en Buddy Miles.

"Fire" is a song written by Jimi Hendrix and recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience in early 1967. It has been described as "an exercise in soul, psychedelic rock, and polyrhythmic jazz-inspired drumming" by AllMusic critic Matthew Greenwald. The song was remixed in stereo for the American release of the album. In 1969, it was released as a stereo single in the UK with the title "Let Me Light Your Fire".

Fisher Z - PinkPop 1981

 One of my many visits to the famous PinkPop Festival in 1981, headlining was Ian Dury and his band, who turned it into a great party.

                                            Remember Russia

This edition was one with many bands at the beginning of their career. From Holland The New Adventures. I think for U2 the first performance in the Netherlands (with a very nervous Bono). UB 40 got the 50,000 people moving along with Madness. For the hard rockers there was The Michael Schenker Group. The band Fisher Z was a pleasant surprise, see this registration.

                                            Marlies

The name Fischer-Z is derived from a term from statistics (Fishers z describes confidence intervals in correlations). Originally the band was called Sheep, but little has been heard under that name. The focal point of Fischer-Z was John Watts: he was the composer-singer and later also the producer of the band.

Neil Young & The Blue Notes - Tonight's The Night, (17 min.version,live!)

                                                  Canadian National Exhibition Grandstand,
                                                     Toronto, Ontario, Canada (08-18-1988)

      The Blue Notes are:
 Steve Lawrence ,Chad Cromwell,Rick Rosas,Frank Sampredo,Steve Lawrence,Ben Keith,Larry        Cragg,Claude Cailett,John Fumo,en Tom Brady.

Tonight's the Night is a direct expression of grief. Crazy Horse guitarist Danny Whitten and Young's friend and roadie Bruce Berry had both died of drug overdoses in the months before the songs were written. The title track mentions Berry by name, while Whitten's guitar and vocal work highlight "Come on Baby Let's Go Downtown"; the latter was recorded live in 1970. The song would later appear, unedited, on a live album from the same concerts, Live at the Fillmore East, with Whitten credited as the sole author
