"That's How Strong My Love Is" is a song written by Roosevelt Jamison and first recorded in 1964 by deep soul singer O. V. Wright.

The song is a soulful love ballad and has been covered many times, most notably in 1965 by Otis Redding, with Redding's cover reaching no.18 on the Billboard R&B chart and no.74 on the US pop chart. Redding's version is regarded as one of his signature songs. The lyrics use natural phenomena such as the sun, the moon, and the ocean to describe the extent of the author's love.

Charles Robert Watts (Islington Londen, 2 juni 1941), beter bekend als Charlie Watts is de drummer van de Engelse rockband The Rolling Stones.
De 23-jarige Rolling Stones-drummer Charlie Watts trouwt op 14 oktober 1964 in Bradford met de drie jaar oudere Shirley Ann Shepherd. Hun vrienden Jeanette en Andy Hoogenboom zijn getuige. Charlie en Shirley Ann hebben elkaar leren kennen op de kunstacademie in Londen. Zij krijgen één dochter. Seraphine Watts wordt op 18 maart 1968 in een ziekenhuis in Howe geboren. Watts staat bekend als een rustig, evenwichtig persoon en is zich, op een korte periode in de jaren 1980 na, nooit te buiten gegaan aan drank of drugs, zoals zijn bandgenoten.

The Glimmer Twins is een bijnaam gegeven aan Mick Jagger en Keith Richards van de Rolling Stones. Zij gebruikten de naam als producers van alle Rolling Stones-albums, die in werkelijkheid gewoon door henzelf werd geproduceerd.

Prodigal Son

For some reason Keith and I wrote together. Maybe because we knew each other for so long and we're friends. I had no experience to back it with as far as songwriting was concerned. Brian was a much better musician. But it seemed very natural and Keith and I seemed quite good at it. Brian was quite problematical and it was obvious to Keith and myself after trying it a few times that it was going to work... I had a slight talent for wording, and Keith always had a lot of talent for melody from the beginning. Everything, including the riffs, came from Keith.

The Rolling Stones The Mick Taylor Years 1969-1974

Beetje stille jongen die Mick Taylor .Tijdens optredens stond hij volgens mij liever achter dan voor de versterkers,weinig beweging maar muzikaal voegde hij wel degenlijk wat aan de groep toe.
In mei 1969 werd hij door de Rolling Stones uitgenodigd voor een opname sessie in Londen, waarna hij het aanbod kreeg om lid te worden van de band.Aanvankelijk werd eerst werd Ry Cooder uitgenodigt maar die zag samenwerking met Keith Richard niet zitten,bovendien begon zijn solocariere net op gang te komen

Van juni 1969 tot december 1974 speelde Taylor bij de Rolling Stones. Taylor's vloeiende en melodieuze gitaarspel is onder andere te horen op nummers als Honky Tonk Women, Brown Sugar, Angie, 'Tumbling Dice, Happy en Sway.

Vanwege het uitmuntende geluid dat de band gedurende deze jaren had (vooral ook tijdens liveconcerten), wordt de periode 1968 tot 1975 tegenwoordig door veel kenners en fans aangeduid als de "golden era" van the Stones.

In december 1974 maakte Taylor bekend dat hij de Rolling Stones wilde verlaten.Over de reden waarom zijn verschillende verhalen in omloop.Mick zou zwaar aan de drugs zijn,hij zou het middelpunt zijn van pesterijen van de andere Stones enz enz
De ware reden weet alleen Mick zelf,feit is wel dat de Stones nooit meer het muzikale niveau van weleer zouden halen.

Na een auditieproces in 1975 besloten de Stones om Ronnie Wood (voorheen gitarist in The Faces) in te huren voor de volgende tournee. Wood speelde vele jaren als ingehuurde muzikant mee en kreeg later de rechten die behoren bij het lidmaatschap van de band.
