Gillian Welch & David Rawlings - Caleb Meyer (Bonnaroo 2004)

 

Scrolling through my old messages I came across this recording again. Lovely duo, and I had the pleasure of seeing them "live" in action (Antwerp) This  comes from a recording of the Bonnaroo festival in 2004.

 Gillian Welch is an American singer-songwriter. She performs with her musical partner, guitarist David Rawlings. Their sparse and dark musical style, which combines elements of Appalachian music, Bluegrass, and Americana, is described by The New Yorker as "at once innovative and obliquely reminiscent of past rural forms" (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
