The Miller Anderson Band

                                                     Miller Anderson
Miller Anderson is a Singer, Songwriter and Guitarist who has worked with many well known musicians over his long career - Keef Hartley Band, Savoy Brown, The Dukes, Mountain, the Spencer Davis Group, Deep Purple and most recently with the Jon Lord Blues Project 2011.

Neil Young with BookerT & MGs - All Along The Watchtower (rehearsels Bob,s Fest 1992))

October 16, 1992 Bob Dylan celebrated his 50th birthday at Madison Square Garden. Booker T & the MGs were more or less the house band of the evening and accompanied the many friends of Bob who performed that evening. And one of the highlights of the evening for me was the performance of Neil Young with a beautiful rendition of All Along the Watchtower, but that was practiced a lot in advance, just take a look.........

We recognize Steve Cropper,Donald (Duck)Dunn,Booker T Jones,Jim Keltner,Larry Gregg,the man with that tight blond hairdo is G.E.Edwards(Hall & OatesBand,Bob Dylan)

The collaboration with Booker T & the MG's went so well that a world tour was started in 1993, of course Europe was also visited.

On Monday 5 July 1993 Neil was in Ahoy in Rotterdam Of course Arthur was there, although it was a long time  ago I can still remember the concert well. A very inspired Neil Young, the beautiful organ of Booker T, a surprising performance of Dock of the Bay, of course Like a Huricane and all those beautiful Neil Young songs, in short a memorable evening.

From a 2009 program honoring Woody Guthrie titled "The People Speak" in 2009, BOB DYLAN, RY COODER and VAN DYKE PARKS perform the Woody Guthrie song Vigilante Man

"Vigilante Man" is a song by Woody Guthrie, recorded and released in 1940 as one of his Dust Bowl Ballads.[1] The song is about the hired thugs ("vigilantes") who would violently chase away migrants to California trying to escape the Dust Bowl, a man-made ecological catastrophe in the American Great Plains during the 1930s. One verse refers to the murder of Preacher (Jim) Casy, a central figure in John Steinbecks' 1939 novel The Grapes of Wrath(Wikipedia)

I had the pleasure of seeing The Doobie Brothers perform once, in the mid-1970s at a festival at the Hilversum racecourse. The Doobie, with Jeff "Skunk" Baxter on guitar, lots of fireworks at a festival with dream programming. From the Netherlands Alquin and Earth & Fire, and also The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Tim Buckley, The Allman Brothers (more than 3 hours). Van Morrison's performance was cancelled.
