Esther Hillesum, born into a Dutch-Jewish family, rose to prominence in 1981 with the publication of an anthology of her diary, 38 years after her murder in Auschwitz. In her diary, she expressed her personal, inner development amid the turbulence of World War II and the absurdities of the Holocaust. The book is not only a powerful personal document but also offers some insight into how the anti-Jewish measures and deportations of those years affected Jews themselves

 Sunshine Cleaners is a trio from Middelburg, Etty Hillesum's birthplace. Inspired by Etty's diary, they created this beautiful album. A worthy tribute to this remarkable woman.

The song Walls of Time was written by Bill Monroe and Peter Rowan and was first released by Randall Collins & Curtis Blackwell and The Dixie Bluegrass Boys in 1970. It was covered by Sisters Wade, Last Train Home, Chrystal Sawyer, Robert Earl Keen with Peter Rowan and other artists.

No Other is the fourth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Gene Clark. Released in September 1974, it was largely ignored or lambasted by critics and was a commercial failure; the studio time and cost were seen as excessive and indulgent.The record label, Asylum Records, did not promote the album, and by 1976 had deleted it from their catalog. Clark never recovered from the failure of the album. It has since been positively reappraised.(,I don't understand that one of my favorite albums from my collection for a long time.)

Dillard & Clark - Polly

Dillard & Clark was a country rock collaboration between ex-Byrds member Gene Clark and bluegrass banjo player Doug Dillard.

 Through the Morning, Through the Night is the second and final album from the country rock duo Dillard & Clark, released in September 1969

The musicians included country rock and folk rock pioneers Gene Clark, Doug Dillard, Bernie Leadon, Chris Hillman, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Byron Berline and Michael Clarke. However, the addition of Dillard's girlfriend Donna Washburn as a full-time harmony vocalist (and lead vocalist on "Rocky Top"), replacing Leadon, caused Leadon to leave the group and join Hillman, Clarke and Kleinow in the Flying Burrito Brothers, although he, Hillman and Kleinow appear as "special pickers" on the album.
