Bertus Borgers (Vessem, 15 juli 1947) is een Nederlandse muzikant die als saxofonist onder andere bekend is van de bands Mr. Albert Show en Sweet d'Buster en optredens met Golden Earring, Herman Brood en Raymond van het Groenewoud. Borgers is sinds 1999 directeur van de Fontys Rockacademie in Tilburg.

 Oorspronkelijk een jazzfestival maar later werden er ook popgroepen geprogammeerd The line-up zag er fantastisch uit,een vriend had een (klein)autootje en met zijn vieren vertokken we naar Bilzen Het werden drie  prachtige dagen ,we zagen Cuby &the Bizzards (zie filmpje) met de legendarische Eelco Gelling en Herman Brood,The Move,Small Faces,T Rex Alexis Korner Chris Farlow enz.enz

Het was toen nog erg eenvoudig om back stage te komen en we konden dan ook praten met Mark Bolan(T Rex)Carl Wayne(The Move) en Harry Muskee (Cuby)The Pretty Things e.a Deze avond eindigde met een grote Jam Sessie ook met Alexis corner . Er zouden nog vele mooie festivals volgen.Ik heb er veel mee mogen maken (en nog steeds) maar deze staat hoog op mijn lijstje......

She is best known as the lead singer for the string band Crooked Still and she also co-founded the Grammy Award-winning female folk trio I'm with Her. She has released three critically acclaimed studio albums: Fossils (2013), In the Magic Hour (2016), and Man in a Neon Coat: Live from Cambridge (2016), as well as multiple noteworthy EPs, including Blue Light (2010), Peachstone (2012), In the Magic Hour: Solo Sessions (2019), and Bull Frog's Croon (and Other Songs) (2020). She also spent a decade contributing to the radio variety shows Live from Here and A Prairie Home Companion. Her first professional engagement was singing lead for the folk group The Wayfaring Strangers

Seen and heard a lot of beautiful Van Morrison, but this version scores very high. And what a discovery    this beautiful band.....

 Herbert Jansch (Bert) (3 November 1943 – 5 October 2011)^[1] was a Scottish folk musician and founding member of the band Pentangle. He was born in Glasgow and came to prominence in London in the 1960s as an acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter. He recorded more than 28 albums and toured extensively from the 1960s to the 21st century.

John Renbourn (8 August 1944 - 26 March 2015) [1] was an English guitarist and songwriter. He was best known for his collaboration with guitarist Bert Jansch as well as his work with the folk group Pentangle, although he maintained a solo career before, during and after that band's existence
