                          Albert Collins (October 1, 1932 – November 24, 1993)^[.Deze dag vieren we de geboortedag van Albert Collins ,hij zou vandaag 80 jaar zijn geworden .Een geweldige gitarist/bleuszanger met enorm veel emoties in zin optredens.Albert had veel bijnamen als  "The Ice Man", "The Master of the Telecaster" en "The Razor Blade" Helaas nooit "live" in aktie gezien,gelukkig zin er wel veel live beelden en als eerbetoon aan Albert Collins onderstaand optreden.

 Albert King Nelson (April 25, 1923 – December 21, 1992), known professionally as Albert King, was an American blues guitarist and singer, and a major influence in the world of blues guitar playing. One of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with B.B. King and Freddie King), he is perhaps best known for the 1967 single "Born Under a Bad Sign".

"Not Dark Yet" is een song van Bob Dylan, komt van zijn album uit 1997 Time Out of Mind en kwam uit als single op 2 Maart 1998. Het staat ook op het album The Passion of the Christ: Songs Inspired By,en op de soundtrack van de film Wonder Boys "Not Dark Yet" word ook gespeeld op het einde van de dokumentaire Why We Fight. Het nummer is o.a gecoverd door Robyn Hitchcock voor zijn album met Dylan covers uit 2002 Robyn Sings.

Election Special is the fifteenth studio album by American recording artist Ry Cooder, released on August 16, 2012, on Perro Verde Records and Nonesuch Records. After his 2011 album Pull Up Some Dust and Sit Down, Cooder continued writing topical and storyline-inspired songs. Displeased with the Republican Party and its financial supporters, he also wanted to write an album that would address listeners during the United States presidential election of 2012, which he believed to be a critical event in the country's history. Election Special was recorded mostly at Drive-By Studios in North Hollywood and produced by Cooder.

Bonnie Raitt plays the Blues

Bonnie Lynn Raitt (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues singer, songwriter and slide guitar player. During the 1970s, Raitt released a series of roots-influenced albums which incorporated elements of blues, rock, folk and country. In 1989 after several years of critical acclaim but little commercial success she had a major return to form with the release of her album Nick of Time. The following two albums Luck of the Draw (1991) and Longing in Their Hearts (1994) were also multi-million sellers generating several hit singles, including "Something to Talk About", "Love Sneakin' Up On You", and the ballad "I Can't Make You Love Me" (with Bruce Hornsby on piano).
