Master storyteller Willie Nelson revisits his past in the video for "A Horse Called Music," a hat tip to his 1989 album A Horse Called Music
and a reimagining of its title track. In the clip, Nelson strides
through the countryside, finds the chapel where he was married, rides
through the small town center and watches an old film. This version of
Wayne Carson's song is warmer than Nelson's original cover, meandering
peacefully in place of the earlier version's emotional strain. Merle
Haggard and Willie's son, Lukas, also join in on the track.
Augustus is een bijzondere maand voor de Willy DeVille fans,niet alleen

Ik heb al enkele malen fanclubdagen meegemaakt o.a Neil Young ,Bob Dylan
e.a.Meestal met (dikwijls)matige coverbands ,foto,s ,bootlegs en andere
curiosia.Deze Willy DeVille dag moet toch wel een hele bijzondere
geweest zijn,niet alleen is Willy zelf van de partij maar speelt uit de
losse pols ook nog een paar prachtige nummers.Ik heb het idee dat
sommige fans dit nog niet in de gaten hadden,er word veel en hard
gekletst,maar van lieverlee word het toch wat stiller en gaat men
luisteren.
Willy is in een melancholieke stemming.....

Dinsdag 7 August spelen The Beach Boys op de Lokerse feesten.Zoals het er nu voorstaat kan ik daar helaas niet bij zijn dus moeten we het maar doen bij deze mooie filmpjes.

jaar geleden zagen we Rick met zijn vrienden van Pink Floyd op de
boulevard van Vlissingen lopen. Die avond gaven ze een schitterend
concert in het plaatselijke Concertgebouw.
Mijn eerste Pink Floyd ervaring, en er zouden nog veel mooie concerten volgen. Rick Wright R.I.P
