Dan Toler  was speelde  in de de band van Dickey Betts Dickey Betts & Great Southern. Hij werkte mee op de albums  Dickey Betts & Great Southern en Atlanta's Burning Down. Hij werd lid  The Allman Brothers Band van 1979 tot1982 en speelde mee op de albums  Enlightened Rogues (1979), Reach for the Sky (1980) and Brothers of the Road (1981)

 "Key to the Highway" is een blues standard first recorded by blues pianist Charlie Segar in 1940. The song was also recorded by Jazz Gillum and Big Bill Broonzy in 1940–41, and it was later a R&B record chart success for Little Walter in 1958.Since then, a variety of artists have interpreted it, including Eric Clapton, who has recorded several versions of the song.
